After breakfast and briefing, the Tritons headed to Kyambogo University to meet their Ugandan and Kenyan teammates for the first full squad training session.

Strangers quickly became teammates as drills sharpened and bonds began to form.

The afternoon shifted focus to the next generation, with a youth development clinic and kit donation at Greenhill Academy — investing directly in Uganda’s girls’ and boys’ rugby future.

The day closed with a “Welcome to Uganda” dinner — stories shared, cultures exchanged and the sense that something special was already taking shape.
